Oded Faran has been living in Tbilisi, Georgia since 2019. Originally from Israel, he has spent much of the last decade as a digital nomad—traveling, working remotely, and documenting his experiences. He is the Director of Faran and Co. International Translation Ltd., where he focusses on legal and technical translation for cross-border clients. He has an LLB and LLM from Shaarei Mishpat College in Israel, which shapes much of his professional and analytical work. He also writes Jacob’s Ledger, a blog where he shares insights on economics, law, and geopolitics—with a focus on clarity, realism, and firsthand experience. The blog often draws on his personal journey and the global trends he observes while on the move.
